The portrait was done in July of 2007. Around Jennifer's face are three brightly-colored roses (one purple, one gold, one red), which symbolize Stallone and Flavin's three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet, each of whom bears the middle name "Rose." The 60-something-year-old actor decided to get the tattoo in honor of his and Flavin's tenth wedding anniversary. Stallone has said it took about twenty-five hours of chair time to complete. The tattoo on his right shoulder was expanded into a full sleeve and chest panel sometime in late 2007 or early 2008, adding a tiger to the mix.

The work on his left shoulder was done by famed tattooist Mario Barth. A Las Vegas newspaper reports Stallone was spotted in Starlight Tattoo located at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas in July of 2008, going over some new designs with artist Mario Barth. Barth's personal web site shows a picture of him working on Stallone. The designs include some eyes on the chest, a very busy background swirling up over the shoulder and some sort of large image on the left upper arm .

Hachiko - The True Story of a Loyal Dog

Hachiko was a real dog, he belonged to a Tokyo University professor named Eisaburo Ueno in the 1920’s. Hachiko is remembered for his remarkable loyalty to his owner, even many years after his owner's death.

In 1924, Hidesaburo Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo, took in Hachiko, a golden brown Akita, as a pet. During his owner's life, Hachiko greeted him at the end of each day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return. The professor had suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage and died, never returning to the train station where Hachiko was waiting. Every day for the next nine years the dog waited at Shibuya station.
Hachiko attracted the attention of other commuters. They brought Hachiko treats and food to nourish him during his wait. This continued for nine years with Hachiko appearing precisely when the train was due at the station until he died on March 8, 1935. In April 1934, a bronze statue in his likeness was erected at Shibuya Station, and Hachiko himself was present at its unveiling. The statue was recycled for the war effort during World War II. The new statue, which was erected in August 1948, still stands and is an extremely popular meeting spot.
Each year on April 8, Hachiko's devotion is honored with a solemn ceremony of remembrance at Tokyo's Shibuya railroad station. Hundreds of dog lovers often turn out to honor his memory and loyalty

The father took his son to a clinic where doctors thoroughly examined this unique case. They found out that Nong can read in almost in complete darkness, and the clarity of his vision is the same as other people. Doctors explain this phenomenon as a rare congenital pathology, which is known as leucoderma. One manifestation of this disease is the lack of protective pigment in the retina, which increases sensitivity to light.

Chinese Boy Has Been Living and Sleeping with a Python for 13 Years

A family from Dongguan, China, has recently made headlines after it became known that their 13-year-old son’s best friend is a 15-foot Burmese python. The predator even looks after the boy when his parents are away.
Most grownups would turn away and run for their lives at the sight of a 220lb python, but 13-year-old Azhe Liu can’t get enough of his slithering friend. Ever since he was just a few months old, the two have been sharing the same bed, and today they are simply inseparable. Six years before Azhe was born, his father, Chen Liu, found a snake egg, brought it home and hatched it out. When the boy came, the python already weighed 20 kilograms, but having a snake around the house didn’t seem to bother the family. ”I’d always thought them the most beautiful creatures and I was interested to see what would happen when my son came along,” Chen says. ”After a while we were certain the snake wouldn’t hurt him and we began to leave them together alone. They really are inseparable.” Azhe and his Burmese python started sharing the same bed, and when he was just 9 months old, he was left alone with it, as the parents left to work. They would play and cuddle all day long, and during the hot summer months, the snake’s cold body acted as a natural air-conditioner.

Chen Liu says his boy has never really had an interest in other toys, and always prefers to spend his free time in the company of his python. They have spent every day and night together, and the father swears the snake has never once hurt Azhe. ”She’s very careful with me and never squeezes to hard,” the 13-year-old confirms. “If people understood animals more they’d be kinder to each other.” In 2012 Azhe had to go to school, and could only sleep at home on Saturdays, which made him really sad, but now he’s set a goal to become a zoologist when he grows up, so he can spend all his time with animal friends.
