Car Collections

For some people, having a four-car garage in a fancy suburban home will just not be enough. For them, they actually need an entire property to house their collection of cars.
Here is a list of the Top 5 people with the biggest car collection in the world.

 5.Jeff Beck
Jeff Beck is a rock god who was a member of The Yardbirds. He is also an avid collector of vehicles. His favorites are the classic Deuce Coupes and 1932 Ford Roadsters. He also has a 1932 three-window Ford coupe, which he copied from the car used in the classic movie called “American Graffiti.” He set out to create an exact replica after losing out in an auction to buy the original one. He still also has the 1963 split-window Corvette Stingray that he bought during the heydays of The Yardbirds.

4. Nick Mason
There must be something about car collection and rock stars because after Jeff Beck, Nick Mason, the drummer of Pink Floyd, comes next in our list. He has cars from all eras and he makes it a point to keep all of it in tip-top condition. Mason is known to have a love for car racing, having participated in Le Mans several times. It is no wonder that his collection is full of super cars, like the 1931 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300, 1927 Bugatti Type 35, Ferrari 312 T3, Ferrari Enzo, 1955 Jaguar D-Type, Maserati 250F, McLaren F1 GTR and 1990 Porsche 962. He also has a Ford Model T that was originally owned by Coco the Clown.

3. Jerry Seinfeld
Jerry Seinfeld has the largest Porsche collection next to Porsche’s own museum in Stuttgart. His first Porsche was the 911 Carrera and he has since added a 1955 Spyder 550, 917 Le Mans, 1970 908 and the Carrera GT. The cars are in California and Manhattan.

2. Ralph Lauren
Like his designs, Ralph Lauren’s collection is about quality. He has one of only three 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupe, Bugatti Veyron, 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C2900 Mille Miglia, 1929 Bentley Blower, 1958 Ferrari Testarossa, McLaren F1 and 1937 Mercedes Benz Count Trossi SSK. His collection is so unique that it has already been featured in a museum.

1. Jay Leno
Jay Leno loves his cars so much that he employs four mechanics and fabricators in a workshop fulltime. While his personal favorite is the 1995 McLaren F1, he actually just buys anything and everything that he likes. He has a 1909 Baker Electric, 1924 Doble Steam, 1955 Buick Roadmaster, a Stanley Steamer, pre-war Bugatti and a host of others.
